Week 9 Reflection Paper

Week 9 Reflection Paper

Q Instructions Module nine examined leadership and moral behavior with an emphasis on a leader’s responsibility to their follower to do the right thing. A leader’s words and actions represent their values and their ethical perspective. However, some leaders when faced with a decision may dismiss their values for self-interest. As you reflect on module nine, the readings, videos, and assignments, what stood out for you? Choose a leader with who you have worked, either past or present, and take the Perceived Leader Integrity Scale in Northouse (2016) on pages 356-358 to discover your perception of the ethical integrity of the leader. State your findings. Did your findings surprise you or did the findings meet your expectations? In review of your perception, using ethical theory, how would you describe the leader’s ethical integrity? How many principles of ethical leadership can be applied to the moral behavior of the leader?
